Our professionally trained staff will take your vehicle through a thorough process of complete auto detailing. We have been serving the Roaring Fork valley as it's premier auto detailing shop since 1983. Not only serving our retail customers, but also many of the local dealerships as their stop to get a showroom quality finish.

Full Detail

The full detail is the complete top to bottom cleaning. The vehicle is washed clean of mud and debris, including the wheel wells, rims and bed (pickup trucks). The vehicle is vacuumed and shampooed while treated for any spots or stains. The vehicle undergoes a process of removing any tree sap, magnesium chloride, or any other foreign particles on the paint. All of the interior panels including vinyl, leather or plastic are first cleaned then treated with a protectant. The exterior undergoes a step by step process of polishing light scratches and removing paint swirls while applying the necessary amount of wax to be protected from the sun and other harmful elements.

Full Detail starts @ $225 for most passenger and compact cars.

There is a additional charge for black paint and vehicles with any animal hair

Exterior Detail

Inlcudes removing of road tar, tree sap and mag chloride. Polishing all painted areas and dressing of any black or plastic molded panels. Also all door jams, trim and any chrome or polished areas.

Interior Detail

Includes shampooed interior carpets, and floor mats. Additionally vacuummed are carpets, upholstery, and trunk. Clean all window and mirrors, and conditioning of all vinyl, plastic and leather.

The Pitstop isn't just your corner quick-lube shop. With our highly trained staff of professionals, we can perform transmission, radiator, brake and power steering services as recommended by your vehicle's manufacturer.

Full Service Oil Change

Full Service inlcudes; oil change, coolant check, air filter check, power steering fluid check, brake fluid check, transfer case and differential check, transmission fluid check, washer fluid filled, tire presure check, front compartment vacuumed, and windshield washed.

Transmission Flush

As oil viscocity breaks down the fluid gets burnt and dirty, causing mechanical parts to wear down progressively faster. For example; bearings, gears in the transmission, etc. This constants friction without renewed fluid will lead to the breakdown of moving parts and seals, which leads to less fuel economy, and costly repairs.

Radiator Flush

As glycol (the active ingredient in antifreeze) gets older, the process of electrolysis begins. This causes the breakdown of gaskets as well as the accumulation of debris from decomposing hoses, that float and settle in the radiator and cooling components. The restriced flow causes overheating and the improper operation of the engine and cooling system. As this process progresses the radiator will become less and less efficient using a smaller and smaller percentage of itself, and this inefficiency will cause a decrease in fuel economy, as well as avoidable repair costs. The flushing of the radiator will prolong the life and considerably reduce premature replacement.

Fuel Filters

All fuel contains sediments that are caught in the fuel filter. These filters allow proper fuel flow from the tank to the engine, however when the filters become clogged, fuel is rsetricted to the engine and decreases the vehicle's fuel economyand horsepower .

Power Steering Flushs

The fluid in the lines lubricates the moving parts in the steering. Periodically, (generally 30K) this fluid needs to be changed to prolong the life in the steering rack and power steering pump.

Brake Flushs

As the brakes are used day to day the fluid in the lines becomes hot and reduces the hydrolic capacity. This reduction causes a lack in stopping efficiency and can become a safety hazzard as time goes on.

Transfer Case and Differentials

Like the transmission the transer case and differentials have many mechanical parts constantly moving and turn. As the fluid viscocity breaks down from wear and tear the fluid gets dirty breaking down the internal bearing and gears. The flushing of fluid allow the gears and bearings to flow freely prolonging the life and preventing replacement of any internal parts. This free flow also provides more efficient fuel economy.
